Eppure un numero sempre maggiore di noi sembra aver scordato questo legame e vive separato dal contatto con la natura. Con Walking Memories mi propongo di raccontare della montagna e di tutto quello che montagna non è, ma che contribuisce a formare l'immagine sbiadita e vertiginosa dei nostri picchi interiori”. Walking Memories is a performance of gestures and words about mountains and the world of memories and forgetfulness, a work by and with Elisa Pol who, in collaboration with the dancer and choreographer Raffaella Giordano, reflects on the correspondences between landscape and individual, between the spaces, textures, smells and sounds of places and their intimate reflections in the human soul. "Being-in-the-world is an open, porous, intertwined condition, available to receive the external landscapes of the world, which reverberate within us and speak to our inner spaces, an experience that constitutes us and shapes who we are, our thoughts and our memory. Yet an increasing number of us seem to have forgotten this connection and live separated from contact with nature.
