How can we not think today of the reflection started in the past editions, Living at the time of collapse , with at the centre of the project a deep analysis that examined all those creative processes observing and analyzing the complexity of our time, an intuition that today surprises even ourselves and that takes on a deep meaning. Thoughts, observations, that have accompanied the development of Contemporanea Festival 20 , a project as an aggregator of an idea of culture in continuous movement that has collected artistic paths, national and international, coming from the different disciplines, where the transversality of languages characterizes compositional research and vision methodologies. Contemporanea Festival 20 is part of a very different and unpredictable picture, as exceptional is the reality we are going through. The state of things has imposed an effort on usof extraordinary imagination, where the new design of places requires a different way of fruition and communication to welcome viewers in a new spatial paradigm. In this framework, the attention paid to the ability to rewrite, produce and reinvent the creative process by many artists and artists has been fundamental. We have entrusted them with the task of interpreting the space of the scene conditioned by the new codes. Once again we have relied on their poetic and political vision of our world, on their innate essence of continuing to perform that function of unpredictable gaze. These are the protagonists of the next edition: Milo Rau/IIPM, Davide Valrosso, Teatro delle Ariette, TPO/MET, Masako Matsushita, Olimpia Fortuni, Agrupacion Senor Serrano, Claudia Caldarano, Elisabetta Consonni, Kinkaleri, Greta Francolini, Giorgia Ohanesian Nardin, Vico Quarto Mazzini, Industria Indipendente, Luna Cenere, Trickster_p, Massimiliano Civica/MET, Sergio Blanco, Marco Chenevier, Alessandro Sciarroni, Laura Simi/Silenda, Monica Demuru . The meetings, theoretical moments of in-depth study, laboratory experiences, conferences, study seminars, site specific productions, are the actions that will guide us throughout the duration of the project. 4
