Dopo una distanza dalle cose da fare e dalle persone. Adesso siamo tutti in attesa dell'autunno a venire. Un virus che attacca i corpi, ha piantato le sue tende nella comunità degli uomini rendendoli estranei a se stessi, alle loro relazioni più intime e reali. Sapevamo già, dalla nostra ricerca sui corpi viventi esposti alla visione, che anche la parola è un virus che lega gli uomini in una comunicazione distorta, interessata e verticale. Per questo avevamo immaginato uno spettacolo fatto di corpi trionfanti nella loro relazione conflittuale con la parola di un testo, sublime e nevrotico come l' Otello di Shakespeare. Un binario parallelo e antagonista che legava corpi e parole. La parola cercava il potere sui corpi, i corpi cercavano la verità dal loro incontro. OtellO è il titolo dello spettacolo che arriverà. HellO è il solo che si presenta oggi ai vostri occhi. Osservatelo con attenzione. Osservate i particolari di un corpo trionfante nella sua fragilità, i suoi movimenti e la sua stasi, la sua intensità e il suo colore, le sue voglie e meraviglie, il suo porsi davanti a voi come unica certezza della vostra presenza e realtà. Di tutto il resto, di ciò che scrivono, di ciò che vi dicono, c'è da speculare e dibattere, ma da non fidarsi troppo. Then there has been a pointed and neurotic void and, later on, a distance from people and from things to do. Now we are all waiting for autumn to come. A virus that attacks the bodies has pitched its tents in the community of human beings, making them alien to themselves, to their most intimate and real relationships. From our research on living bodies exposed to vision, we already knew that even the written language is a virus connecting mankind in a distorted, self-absorbed and vertical communication. For this reason we had imagined a show made up of triumphant bodies in their conflicting relationship with the words of a sublime and neurotic text, like Shakespeare's Othello : a parallel and antagonistic track linking bodies and words. The words sought power over the bodies; the bodies sought truth from their encounter. OtellO is the title of the show that will come. HellO is the solo we are showing today to your eyes. Watch it carefully. Observe the details of a triumphant body in its fragility, its movements and its stasis, its intensity and its colour, its desires and wonders, placing itself in front of you as the only certainty of your presence and reality. We can speculate and debate, but we can't trust too much all the rest, what they write, what they tell you. 29
