SCENA CONTEMPORANEA Pàthos è la forza che ci solleva dal peso del mondo, è la leggerezza viva della forma. Nessuna tecnica ci guida nell'immedesimarsi nel personaggio: il personaggio è in noi, noi ne siamo solo il tramite. Dall'apice di questo entusiasmo precipitiamo: Báthos è una caduta non frenabile, in alcun modo gestibile. La forza che ci animava ci ha lasciati e siamo involucri vuoti, come abiti d'attore che giacciono sulla scena. Pàthos is the force that lifts us from the weight of the world, it is the living lightness of the form. No technique guides us in identifying with the character: the character is in us, we are only the intermediary. From the apex of this enthusiasm we plummet: Báthos is a fall that cannot be held back, in any way controlled. The strength that animated us has left us and we are empty wrappings, like actor's clothes lying on the scene.
